SEAA is a volunteer-run organization with many opportunities for employees of member companies to get involved. Members who get connected report gaining the most benefit from the association.

board of directors
The Board of Directors consists of 22 individuals, who serve two-year terms. From among the Directors five officers are elected semi-annually, while the Immediate Past President is an appointed position. The Board of Directors meets quarterly to review and act upon association business.
Led by the Treasurer. Responsible for overseeing the financial health of the association, allocating funds to member benefits, and projects.
Made up of the elected officers of the board of directors and the Executive Director.
Long Range Planning:
Led by the Immediate Past President. Responsible for membership growth activities.
Responsible for recommending individuals to fill committee chairperson assignments and elected positions on the board of directors.
Communicates topics of interest to members, leads the direction of the Craft Training and Apprenticeship programs.
Oversees marketing, member communications, and Connector magazine.
Plans annual conference speakers, selects location for event, and organizes trade show.
