Trainers' Instructor Guides for:

  • Connectors
  • Controlled Decking Zones
  • Fall Hazards
  • Multiple Lift Rigging

These guides are provided to assist in training ironworkers in the latest OSHA requirements, as well as providing overall safety awareness. Used in conjunction with SEAA's Steel Erection Training Modules, they should be very helpful. Instructor’s Guides are Bilingual.

Draft Compliance Directive #1 - the original interpretation and potential enforcement guide from OSHA.

Draft Compliance Directive # 2 - the latest interpretation and potential enforcement guide from OSHA.

Editor's Note: Read BOTH Compliance Directives and compare them - you'll see that OSHA's interpretation of the rule is still unclear in many ways, but these documents do give you some additional insight into what will be expected out in the field, along with some decent photos in each document.
