This year, General Equipment and Supply celebrates its 40th year in business. The company was founded by Rob Hall, who continues to serve as President. The company’s reputation as a leader in remanufactured tools and equipment is the result of Hall’s clear vision, a relentless work ethic, and a culture instilled by Hall that emphasizes value, service, and long-term partnerships.

Hall’s journey in sales began at a young age, going door-to-door selling flower seeds—an early start that would shape a lifetime of entrepreneurial drive. Today, his name has become synonymous within the construction industry with one simple concept: helping customers save time and money. His depth of knowledge and hands-on leadership have guided the company through decades of growth and innovation.

As the company looks ahead, its leadership remains focused on serving customers across the country—particularly its strong relationships within the SEAA community. Michael Hooper joined the General Equipment and Supply team five years ago. Having served in multiple roles, he now leads as National Business Development Director, supporting a dynamic outside sales team while traveling extensively across the country. Based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Hooper balances his professional responsibilities with family life alongside his wife, Chenoa, and their two daughters, Lorelei and Naomi. He is also actively involved in the industry, serving on the SEAA planning committee in recent years.
