SEAA Recognizes 2026 Trailblazers

SEAA recognized four members as Trailblazers during the 2026 Convention & Trade Show for their efforts to grow the association through member recruitment. The Trailblazer designation honors individuals who recruited three or more new SEAA members during the past year.

This year’s Trailblazers were Mike Mulsow of FM Steel, Glen Pisani and Steve Hebert of MAS Building & Bridge, Jack Nix of Shelby Erectors, and Geoff Kress of Gardner-Watson Decking. Their efforts helped introduce new companies to the association’s training resources, safety initiatives, networking opportunities, and industry connections while strengthening SEAA’s voice across the steel construction industry.

Nix was also recognized as Trailblazer of the Year for the third consecutive year after recruiting the highest number of new members. The award highlights the important role member referrals play in strengthening the association and expanding opportunities for companies across the industry.
