Custom Fabricator Training
SEAA offers a custom Steel Fabricator training curriculum. SEAA provides a certificate of completion to trainees when all modules are completed and a transcript of completion is filed in the NCCER registry. Developed in collaboration with steel fabrication subject matter experts, the SEAA Fabricator Curriculum includes 79 hours of Core Training, covering OSHA 10, introduction to construction math, hand and power tools, construction drawings, rigging, and material handling. The Fabricator modules total another 165 hours covering:

Member discounts available to purchase Fabricator Training Curriculum. Members also receive access to supplemental training videos that complement the Fabricator Training Curriculum through the SteelPros Training Portal.
In addition, SEAA members who participate in the association’s craft training program have access to the structural ironworker and steel fabricator training materials, as well as many other NCCER craft titles. SEAA is an authorized Sponsor of NCCER Craft Training Programs. As a member, you can become an accredited NCCER training provider and can access various training programs.
Members can set up their own assessments for certification of crane operators or riggers, or use other SEAA members for the certification process.

Apprenticeship Standard and Certifications
SEAA’s US DOL approved Ironworker Apprenticeship Standard provides members a tool for creating and registering formal training programs to meet State and Federal requirements.
