March 15 is the deadline for SEAA members to submit Project of the Year entries and to apply for the annual Training Grant. Submissions can be made online or applications can be downloaded. Visit http://www.seaa.net/awards.html for more information. Four awards are given in the Project of the Year recognition program, one in each contract level category. Winners are recognized and participate in a panel discussion about the jobs at the annual convention. Winners also receive considerable free publicity in SEAA’s Connector magazine and other industry trade publications.  The SEAA Education Committee annually awards one Craft Training Grant to a member that has applied to become an NCCER accredited Training Unit (TU) and Assessment Site (AAS) in the previous year. The grant, not to exceed $4500, is awarded at the annual convention.  Comments are closed.
